Dear Angry Mom, You must change. You must change before your children learn from you that angry outbursts when you don’t get your way are acceptable. You must change before your children become fearful of you, and begin to base their value on your approval of them. You must change before your children become angry and resentful, and begin to act out of those sinful heart conditions. But, most importantly, you must change because your heavenly Father says so (James 1:19-20; Ecclesiastes 7:9; Colossians 3:8; Psalm 37:8-9; Proverbs 16:32; Ephesians 4:31-32). “But what if it’s cancer? How will we deal with that? I don’t want to leave my husband and children alone!”
